Since July 4th, 2018 I have raised approximately 2,100 through this website and our now defunct GoFundMe page. With that money I was able to purchase five 20 gauge H&R 1871 Pardner Pump Youth Shotguns at a cost of $1,136.20 , $100 in ammunition, $200 in basic accessories (shotgun carrying bags, eye protection, hearing protection) $500 in training by an NRA certified instructor.
Part of my mission is to assist women in obtaining their Firearm Owner ID cards (FOID) in the state of Illinois. $66 was spent to pay the fees.
With the generosity of the internet I have been able to help Patty, Hannah, Kris, Rachel, and Ellen acquire the necessary tools and training to better protect themselves and their homes.
I've also found help in my local community by other pro-self defense advocates like Thadeus Freed. I am not alone in my goal to help women take control of their personal safety, but I could use some more help. Arming and training women for free isn't free to do. I need approximately $18,000 dollars to arm the last 45 women. The good thing is I'm in this for the long run and whether or not I can raise the last 90% of my budget I will be sure to continue my work here in Southern Illinois.
How can you help?
By giving a generous donation, liking and sharing our Facebook page, or starting your own Help50 program you can do your part in protecting the women most vulnerable to home invasion.
It doesn't take a politician or a professional protester to make a difference. When regular Americans choose to fix a problem there are no boundaries to how much we can achieve. If you can't give, please share and show your support in any way you can.
With respect and appreciation,
